Athomedad_Newsletter · At-Home Dad Newsletter and Network
This is a distribution list for the At-Home Dad Newsletter and Network. The newsletter will keep you informed of The At-Home Dad Network, a national network of dads who connect with each other with playgroups, message boards, chats, media contacts, articles, books, home businesses, research, and the At-Home Dad Convention which which will be holding it's next convention on Saturday, November 20, 2004. Since I have taken the newsletter from hardcopy to online I have taken the best advice from the dads I have interviewed the last 10 years and have published the Stay at-Home Dad Handbook. For more info on the book click the cover photo. For the latest updates from the newsletter go to athomedad.com. - Thank You! Peter Baylies - athomedad@aol.com
Athomedad_Network · The At Home Dad Network
The At-Home Dad Network message board is a forum for at-home dads who want to discuss any activity to help connect at-home dads. We are also here to discuss any issues concerning at-home dads. The At-Home Dad Network was started in 1994 in conjunction with the At-Home Dad Newsletter and we now have playgroups across the country and the world. I have just released the Stay at-Home Dad Handbook shown at left, (click here for purchase or more info) and currently sponsor the At-Home Dad Convention held every November in Chicago. If you would like to join or start an At-Home Dad playgroup or activity go to http://www.athomedad.com/ and click on the At-Home Dad Network. Hope to see some of you at the convention! - Thank You! At-HomeDads
At-homeDads@yahoogroups.com is an unmoderated social list for dads that stay at-home to raise their kids, with most topics of discussion being welcome if handled in a civil manner. Men in this non-traditional role often experience a sense of isolation and this list is a way of staying connected to the "real" world. The list consists primarily of at-home dads but moms are welcome to join as well. Topics can range from such things as the ecological impact of disposable diapers on Antarctica to the merits of home-schooling to the proper way to eat lime jello while the kids are napping (Answer: naked), with the occasional really bad joke thrown in for good measure. Mostly we are just a bunch of crazy at-home dads and we hope you can join us in the insanity as we take breaks from wiping poop and cleaning the kitchen.
DadsList · Welcome to the Daddys List!
Like all groups about a parent at-home, we provide a forum for discussion. Unlike most of the groups, however, our focus is on the At-Home Dad. Topics have included everything from the standard parenting tasks to cooking to the "Big V".
So, Join up, one and all, and let's just chat about life, parenting, Hockey, Cooking, Baseball, School Plays, Shopping, Football, Books, Music, MTV, Soccer... well you get the point.
